Judy Converse MPH, RD, LDN is your pediatric nutrition expert. She is a licensed registered dietitian/nutritionist with a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Vermont and a Master’s degree in Public Health Nutrition from the University of Hawai’i. Endeavoring to support her own child through early growth, feeding, and allergy challenges, and finding her pediatric providers lacking for nutrition expertise, Judy began her pediatric nutrition practice in 1999 to help other families with the same dilemma.
Judy uses a functional and integrative approach to resolve picky eating, growth and feeding concerns, and GI conditions like FPIES, constipation, IBD, and IBS. Her skill set can also improve outcomes for food allergy, as well as anxiety, mood, and developmental or learning challenges including autism and ADHD. Judy is passionate about helping children thrive with new levels of wellness, and believes your kids get to be healthy.
Since 2014, Judy’s pediatric nutrition practice has resided in the offices of functional medicine expert Jill Carnahan MD, ABIHM, IFMCP at Flatiron Functional Medicine. In 2008, Judy created the first accredited module for health professionals on nutrition assessment and monitoring for children with autism. She has presented testimony on federal and state levels for safe vaccines. She has been featured in Today’s Dietitian, Autism Autoimmunity Project Newsletter, and Journal of American Dietetic Association. She has been a featured presenter for Autism One, US Autism and Aspergers Association, and National Autism Association. In addition to maintaining her clinical practice, a healthy kids blog, and creating e book resources and courses for parents, Judy has published two books with Penguin Perigee on nutrition for kids with chronic conditions.
In my pediatric nutrition practice, I use professional grade supplements that are vetted independently for quality, potency, and purity. Set up your own access to my FullScript dispensary Fullscript Pharmacy!
I’d been a nutrition professional for years before I became a mom, with training in infant, maternal, and child health to boot – but I was not prepared for the challenges my own child faced. We needed deeper help than our pediatricians knew how to offer. And, we expected health and well being for our child too! Do you?
